Human Theory is a growth and performance agency run by Katie-Jane Michael in Bondi, NSW, Australia. In this policy, “we” and “us” means Human Theory. If you have a question about your information, email hello@humantheory.com.au.
We only collect what you give us or what we need to run the business.
This site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. They count visits, show which pages people use, and help us measure our advertising on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and show our ads to people who have visited this site. These tools set cookies in your browser and send information about your visit, such as the pages you view, to Google, Meta and LinkedIn.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work. You can also change how ads are shown to you in your Google, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn ad settings.
We use the official Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn tools for developers only to publish Human Theory’s own posts to Human Theory’s own accounts and pages, and to read back the links to those posts. We do not use them to collect information about other people, and we do not sell or share anything from them.
We never sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the business, such as our form, booking, payment, email, analytics, advertising and website hosting providers. Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also share information if the law requires it.
We keep your information in password-protected accounts and only for as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@humantheory.com.au with the subject “Privacy request” and tell us what you would like. We will reply within 30 days. If we can’t do what you ask, for example because the law says we must keep a record, we will tell you why.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please email us first so we can put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
